Canadian music superstar Drake has shown off some new
ink, debuting his new tattoo of The Beatles after breaking the
band’s Billboard chart record.
Back in November of 2018, Meek Mill recruited Drake to guest
upon his new track, ‘Going Bad’. Soon after the song kicked
off, Drake delivered a line that still resonates today, boasting
that “I got more slaps than The Beatles.”
While this could seem like little more than a meaningless brag,
the Canadian musician wasn’t too far off with this bar, having
broken a chart record by The Fab Four just one month earlier.
Having released his Scorpion record in June of 2018, October
saw Drake hit the Billboard top 100 with a guest spot on Bad
Bunny’s ‘MIA’ In doing so, this gave him his 12th top 100
song for that year,
beating The Beatles’ long-standing record of 11 from back in
Now, almost a full year later, Drake has commemorated this
achievement with some new ink.
